4/19 Crockett Cup - beat Dick Slater
May - the title was discontinued when Mid-South Wrestling relaunched as the Universal Wrestling Federation
12/27 - w/Terry Taylor beat Bill Irwin & Bad Leroy Brown to win the UWF Tag Team Championship
