In September of 2009, Jeff Hardy was arrested after police found drugs in his house. He has been charged with six felonies and a misdemeanor. The charges have been broken down into four separate cases that were held at the same time. Here is a breakdown of those cases and charges:
- Case 1: Conspiracy to traffic opium
- Case 2: Trafficking opium; possession of two Schedule III drugs (3 felony charges)
- Case 3: Felony Possession of Cocaine and felony maintaining a dwelling to redistribute controlled substances (2 felony charges)
- Case 4: Possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor)

Jeff plead guilty to three of the felony charges against him and the other three were dropped in a plea deal. Ironically, the day of his sentencing also marked his return to IMPACT WRESTLING.

Due to comments made by the DA a few weeks earlier, we all expected that Jeff was going to enter into a plea bargain arrangement at this hearing. However, the two sides were still negotiating a plea agreement and this hearing resulted in another continuance. The next hearing is scheduled for February 16.
