- The show starts off with some highights from Sunday night’s Victory Road PPV.
- Jeremy Borash is outside Sting’s locker room. Jay Lethal comes out and tells Jeremy that he will be fighting Jeff Jarrett for the NWA title tonight.
The Naturals w/Shane Douglas vs Frankie Kazarian & Matt Bentley – Shane Douglas does not stay at ringside because he doesn’t want to hold the hands of his new team. After a few rough moments, The Naturals hit the missile drop kick on Matt to get the win. Shane Douglas enters the ring yelling at his team. While they were happy with a win, Shane wanted total domination. Winners: The Naturals
- Footage of Jeff Jarrett throwing gasoline into Sting’s eye is shown. Jeremy Borash is still outside Sting’s locker room waiting for an update as to Sting’s condition. Eric Young shows up and wants to know if Jeremy is avoiding him. He asks Jeremy for more ideas on how he can keep his job. Jeremy says they have to go back to the ring.
- Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner are bullying Mike Tenay. Jarrett is flipping out that Sting told Jay Lethal to fight him tonight instead of using his title shot on an X Division title shot. He thinks that Sting is going to try and cost him the title tonight because he is too scared to fight him at Hard Justice.
- Kevin Nash is trying to get in right frame of mind to be an X Division star. Alex Shelley shows him a tape of wrestling from Madagascar while Nash takes notes. The tape, which we never see, is from Madagascar and is from a two sided ring and the fans sit on the floor. Nash is very impressed and gets very emotional when Alex Shelley tells him that he will be flying these two wrestlers via business class to the iMPACT! zone next week.
Rhino vs Robert Adams – Gore, gore, gore. Rhino wins in a matter of seconds. After the match, he says that when he threw out an open challenge he wanted a better challenge. Samoa Joe comes out to answer the challenge. He says that they will be fighting next week. The two men go to beat each other up now but security separates them. Winner: Rhino
- Jeremy Borash is with Brother Runt when the rest of Team 3D enters the locker room. Bubba & D-Von announce that they are going to take some time off to regroup.
- Jeremy talks to America’s Most Wanted and Gail Kim. AMW insult each other but Gail stops them and then says that the reason for their problems is Sirelda. She announces that she will be fighting her at Hard Justice.
- Tag team champs AJ Styles and Chris Daniels cut a promo in the ring. They have envelopes with signed contracts to face every team in TNA. They rattle off a lot of names before Konnan yells at them from the Spanish announce table and says that he didn’t hear the names of the LAX. They show Konnan the contract. Konnan wants to see the contract and they hand deliver it to Konnan. While dealing with Konnan, the rest of the LAX come out and attack AJ & Chris. Hernandez bloodied Daniels with the title belt and Homicide hit the gringo buster on AJ. The LAX then signed the contract with the blood of Daniels.
- Jeremy Borash is at Sting’s locker room but Sting is no longer there. Larry Zbysko shows up and is wearing a bad wig. He tells Jeremy that he is still the head of the championship committee and can’t believe all the bad decision that Jim Cornette has made tonight. He says that the Samoa Joe vs Rhino match should be on PPV and that he can’t believe that the youngest wrestler on the TNA roster, Jay Lethal, is fighting for the oldest title in the business tonight.
NWA Title: Champ Jeff Jarrett vs Jay Lethal – During the match, Scott Steiner came out and continually interfered on behalf of Jeff Jarrett. He uses a steel pipe on Lethal which allows Jarrett to hit the stroke for the win. After the match, the two men attack Lethal until Sting comes out. Winner: Jeff Jarrett
- The show ends with Christian Cage asking Jim Cornette to be in Sting’s corner at Hard Justice since Steiner will be in Jarrett’s for the match.
