- The show starts off with Jeff Jarrett demanding that the announcers tell him who he will be fighting in the King of the Mountain qualifier match. Scott Steiner then comes out and threatens Don West . He drags him into the ring and threatens to hold the show hostage until he finds out who who he will be fighting. Sting and Raven come out and chase Steiner and Jarrett from the ring.
Non-title Match: NWA Tag Team Champs America's Most Wanted (Harris/Storm) w/Gail Kim vs The Naturals (Stevens/Douglas) – When The Naturals have control of the match, Gail Kim tries to interfere. A.J. Styles and Chris Daniels come out to stop the interference. Daniels than gives Chase Stevens the night stick but he refuses to use it. From behind, Chris Harris hits Stevens in the head with a beer bottle and gets the win. After the match, Shane Douglas (no relation) looks at both men and walks away as America's Most Wanted continue to beat up Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas. Winners: America's Most Wanted
Alex Shelley w/Kevin Nash vs Jay Lethal – When Alex Shelley tries to use Kevin Nash 's elbow on Lethal, Lethal reverses the move and Nash winds up striking Shelley. Lethal then rolls up Shelley to get the win. After the match, Nash and Shelley beat up Lethal until Chris Sabin comes out to make the save. Chris Sabin then challenges Kevin Nash to a match at Slammiversary. Winner: Jay Lethal
- In a pre-taped vignette, Samoa Joe explains his actions at last month's Sacrifice PPV. He says that the only reason he teamed with Sting was so he could be in the main event. He then said that his deal with Sting was to watch his back from bell to bell. He left Sting to be double teamed after the match because he had no further loyalty to Sting. He then went on to say that Scott Steiner is afraid of him.
- Team 3D is interviewed by Jeremy Borash. They got a good laugh out of the James Gang making fun of them last week but got insulted about them saying bad things about their extreme past. They went on to insult, without mentioning names, the WWE profiting from the ECW name. They then said that they would never exploit the bingo hall in Philly but they would be the first to defend it.
- A.J. Styles and Chris Daniels are in Larry Zbysko's office where they are granted their final match for the NWA tag team titles at Slammiversary. A.J. says something about how they plan to neutralize Gail Kim's interference. Slick Johnson then comes in and tells Larry Zbysko that the new face of TNA management might not wait for Slammiversary to make their debut.
- Jeremy Borash tries to interview Konan and the LAX at the Spanish announce table. They refuse to let him cross the LAX border because he is not Latino and has no papers.
- In a pre-taped vignette, Christian Cage says that he will be the first man to successfully defend the NWA World title in a King of the Mountain match.
King of the Mountain Qualifier: Jeff Jarrett vs Raven – These are the only two men to win a King of the Mountain match and this is also Raven's first match on iMPACT! in almost half a year. The majority of the match takes place outside the ring. After a tour of the back of the iMPACT! Zone, the two men finally are in the ring for a few moments before the ref gets knocked out. Gail Kim slid Jeff's guitar into the ring but Raven put Jeff into a sleeper hold. A few monts later, Raven hit a drop toe into a steel chair. He then tried to use the guitar but Larry Zbysko came out and grabbed it. Jeff Jarrett then tried to use the chair but Zbysko also grabbed it from him. The two men started shoving each other when Raven tried to hit Jarrett with the chair but accidentally hit Zbysko instead. Jarrett the hit the stroke on Raven to get the win. Winner: Jeff Jarrett
