Rhino vs Abyss w/James Mitchell - Abyss has the NWA World title in his possession after stealing it from Christian Cage at Lockdown. Mitchell grabs the mic and dares anyone in the back to take the belt from Abyss. Rhyno storms out to accept the challenge. These two men have had some brutal battles a few months back. After a few minutes of back and forth action, Rhyno was about to hit the gore when Bobby Roode entered the ring and blindsided Rhino with the Northern Lariat. Abyss then hit the black hole slam to get the win. After the match, Christian Cage enters the ring to reclaim his title belt. James Mitchell ran away with the belt. Christian challenges Abyss to a Full Metal Mayhem match at Sacrifice. Winner: Abyss
- Jeremy Borash talks to Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett about their Sacrifice match against Sting and a partner of his choice. Larry Zbysko comes out and tells them that Sting wants to see them in the ring later tonight so he can announce his partner.
- Alex Shelley interviews himself about to interview Kevin Nash. The interview will be on next week’s show.
The rules of the X Cup:
Round 1 is tag team matches worth 2 points.
Round 2 is singles matches worth 3 points.
Round 3 is a gauntlet match worth 5 points to the winner and 2 points to the runner up.
World X Cup: Team USA (Alex Shelley & Sonjay Dutt) vs. Team Japan (Hiroki Goto and Minoru Tanaka) – Team Canada’s Scott D’Amore joins the announce booth and says that Bobby Roode & A1 won’t be on the team. He is adding the returning Johnny Devine and the debuting Tyson Dukes. This one ended when Shelley broke up Goto’s pin attempt on Dutt. He hit Goto with an enziguri and the sliced bread on Goto which allowed Dutt to make the pin. Winners: Team USA
- AJ Styles and Chris Daniels are interviewed by Jeremy Borash. It is announced that they will be facing America’s Most Wanted in a tag team title match next week.
- During the introductions of the following match, Raven ran out of the crowd and chased Larry Zybsko out of the arena.
X Division Title: Champ Samoa Joe vs Jay Lethal – Samoa Joe took advantage of the Raven-Zbysko situation to attack Lethal. These two men fought on the 12/17 edition of iMPACT! and Joe easily beat Lethal in Lethal’s iMPACT debut. Since then Jay has been named to Team USA and Samoa Joe is still undefeated in TNA. Not much has changed since their last meeting as Joe easily wins this match Despite being on Team USA, Jay is no match for Joe. Joe wins with the muscle buster. Winner: Samoa Joe
- As Joe walks up the ramp he meets up with Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner. Joe stares down both men. He is face to face with Scott Steiner when the show goes to break.
- Sting comes to the ring to meet Jarrett and Steiner. He says that Jarrett can pick his partner for Sacrifice. He has a potential partner behind the entrance of Tunnel 1 and 2. When Jarrett & Steiner conference together, Sting makes it like a game show and invites Christy Hemme to the ring to act as a hostess. He says that if they don’t pick tonight, his choices for tonight will be null and void. Jarrett says that he won’t face either wrestler. Sting announces the men behind the tunnels, Buff Bagwell & Lex Luger.
