World X Cup Preview: Team USA (Dutt/Lethal/Sabin/Shelley) vs Team Canada (A!/Roode/Young/Williams) w/Scott D’Amore – During the match, it is announced by Jerry Lynn that Chris Sabin will be the captain of Team USA. Alex Shelley is a friend of Team Canada and is not a friend of his Team USA partners. He avoids all contact with Team Canada until his partners tag him in and drop to the ring floor. Team Canada has no problem beating up on Shelley. Jay Lethal gets tags himself in but is hit with A1’s pump handle slam and gets pinned. Winners: Team Canada
AJ Styles, Rhino, & Ron Killings vs Diamonds in the Rough (Diamond/Skipper/Young) – AJ, Rhino & Killings will be Sting’s partners in the Lethal Lockdown match on Sunday. Sting’s team is in control for most of the match. The match ends when Killings hits Skipper with the axe kick to get the win for his team. Winners: AJ Styles, Rhino & Ron Killings
- Jeremy Borash is in Larry Zbysko’s office. Slick Johnson enters his office and says that he is past asking Zbysko for favors because of the new guy coming in. Johnson then says that Raven has been in the TNA offices and hands him a letter.
- Christian Cage enters the ring to discuss his match with Abyss on Sunday night. James Mitchell interrupts him and says that he is falling into his trap. While Mitchell is talking, Abyss attacks Christian from behind. Christian tries to hit the Unprettier on Abyss but he reverses it into the Black Hole Slam. Abyss then chokes Christian with a steel chain.
Team 3D (Ray/D-Von/Runt) vs Jeff Jarrett & America’s Most Wanted w/Gail Kim & Jackie - This is the first match in TNA for Team 3D with Brother Runt (Spike Dudley). Runt dominates the beginning of the match and it goes to commercial break with Runt being launched by Ray outside the ring onto their opponents. The show comes back with all six men brawling throughout the arena. When Team 3D has the advantage, Team Canada’s Bobby Roode enters the ring and hits Runt with the hockey stick. Jarrett then hits the stroke on Runt to get the pin. After the match a huge brawl erupts between Team Canada, Jarrett’s Army & Abyss vs Sting’s Squadron, Christian Cage, and Team 3D. Sting enters the brawl last and he easily disposes of all the members of Jarrett’s team as the action from the arena ends. Winners: Jeff Jarrett & America’s Most Wanted
