X Division Title: Champ Chris Daniels vs Samoa Joe – The first few minutes of this match were on TNA’s web site. The telecast starts with Chris Daniels bloodied because his head was rammed into the ring post. Samoa Joe dominates for the first TV segment of the match with his brutal array of kicks, punches, chops and knee drops. The match returns from commercial with Joe putting Daniels in a variety of judo type submission moves while also working on the huge gash on Daniel’s forehead. Daniels gets his second wind and the momentum swings back and for the between the two men for the next few minutes. This part of the match is highlighted by Daniels hitting the Best Moonsault Ever but Joe kicks out at two. A few minutes later, Daniels has Joe on the top rope but Joe grabs him and hits the island driver off the top rope to get the win and regain the X Division title. Winner and new champ: Samoa Joe
- Sting is interviewed by Jeremy Borash about his challenge to face Jeff Jarrett in the ring tonight. Sting says that he hears that Jeff Jarrett has been in the bathroom all day because of how nervous he is to be facing him tonight.
- Mike Tenay is presents a previously recorded interview with Christian Cage. Cage talks about how disgusted he is that Abyss, James Mitchell, and Alex Shelley stalked his wife. [b Street Fight: Team 3D vs America’s Most Wanted w/Gail Kim & Jackie Gayda – AMW’s tag team championship is not on the line in this match. In the first televised segment of this match, the action between Jackie Gayda and Gail Kim is in the forefront as Gail Kim slaps and humiliates Jackie who can’t fight back due because she doesn’t want the contents of Alex Shelley’s tape shown. When the match returns, the teams are battling throughout the arena and using a variety of weapons against each other. When Team 3D is about to win, all 4 members of Team Canada interfere. After knocking the ref out, AMW leaves the ringside area. Team Canada beats up Team 3D due to the 4 on 2 advantage they have. From out of nowhere, Team 3D’s brother (formerly known as Spike Dudley) enters the ring and they send A1 through the table while the rest of Team Canada retreats. This is Spike Dudley’s debut in TNA. It is unknown at this time what name Spike Dudley will use due to the WWE owning at a minimum his last name. Winners: No Contest

- Jeremy Borash is in the locker room of Jarrett’s army. Jarrett says that tonight, Sting will be facing Eric Young.
Sting vs Eric Young w/Scott D’Amore – The last time Sting fought on free TV was on the final edition of WCW Monday Nitro when he beat Ric Flair in the final WCW match ever. Before the match begins, Alex Shelly bring the paparazzi cam to the ringside area. The match goes to commercial break when Sting misses the Stinger Splash and hits the steel ringside barrier. The match returns with Young in control. This doesn’t last long as Sting hits both D’Amore and Young with the Stinger Splash and then makes Young tap out to the scorpion death lock. After the match, Sting puts Alex Shelley in the Scorpion death lock when Jarrett’s army storms the ring. Rhino, AJ Styles, & Ron Killings then come to the ring with bats to protect Sting. It is then announced that the men that saved him are his teammates for Lethal Lockdown. Winner: Sting

- The rules of the Anthem match are described: If Team 3D wins the Star Spangled Banner is played. If they lose to Team Canada, Oh Canada will be played over the P.A. system.
- The rules of the Lethal Lockdown are explained. The match starts off as a 1 on 1 then based on a coin flip a man will enter the ring every 2 minutes until al 8 men are in the ring. At that point, the roof of the cage will be lowered and weapons will be hanging from it. Only when the roof is lowered will a team be able to win this match.
