WWE Bragging Rights History

By , About.com Guide

Intro
In 2009, the WWE renamed several of their PPV events to coincide with a theme. Bragging Rights replaced Cyber Sunday on the WWE calendar. The theme of this event is the battle for Bragging Rights between the RAW and SmackDown brands. Coincidentally, this October event coincides with the release of the video game series WWE SmackDown vs. RAW.
