Guide Review - SummerSlam Anthology Volume 4 (2002 - 2007) DVD Review
The reason for this renewed push for the show is because during the era this DVD set spans, the event lost a lot of its luster. The event went from being the second biggest show of the year to just another one of the many events on the wrestling calendar.
That is not to say the events on this volume are bad. It is just that everything is mediocre.
For those that have been keeping track of my reviews of these four volumes, my order of quality for these DVD sets is Volume 3, Volume 1, Volume 4, and then Volume 2. If you plan to buy more than one of these DVD sets, you may just want to check out the price of the entire 4-volume set. In addition to possibly saving yourself some money, the discs come in a container that looks and feels like a cooler. Your discs will be safer that way. As I griped about in my review of Volume 2, I am not a fan of the packaging of this set.
