Guide Review - Review of Batista Unleashed by Dave Batista
The good thing about that style is that it makes for an easy read for younger readers. Since Batista is so popular with children, they will be happy by this. However, the bad thing is that most of the stories in this book lack great detail and entertainment value.
The best part of the book is that Batista talks brutally honest about his feelings for his co-workers and some of his matches. Unlike most books where the wrestler toots their own horn while knocking others, Batista admits to several flaws in his game and takes responsibility and admits that some of his matches were bad.
He also gets into some of the backstage politics that go on and how he had heat with several wrestlers for some of the things he said and did. He also gave the answer to the question wrestling fans have been wondering about for two years. Was Eddie Guerrero supposed to win the World Heavyweight Title from Batista on the day he died? While I won't spoil the answer for you, if you don't want to buy the book you can find the answer at your local bookstore on page 215.
The other thing I enjoyed about the book is that Batista explained why certain events happened inside the ring. He also details the things that should have happened but didn't due to injuries and death.
