This is the second DVD set for Rey Mysterio. The two sets have minimal repeating between them. This disc only features matches (no documentary). The matches on this disc mainly pit Rey against fellow cruiserweights. The big question this DVD left me with is "Has Rey ever had a bad match?" because I can't remember one.
Disc One
This portion of the disc features his first matches in America where he made fans care about the lucha libre style. Most telling is his first WCW PPV match. At the beginning of the match the fans could care less about what they were seeing. However, by the end of the match the people were on their feet amazed at what they were seeing. One odd thing I kept thinking about when watching this disc was how cool the outdoor WCW events looked and it makes me really excited to see what WrestleMania 24 is going to look like in a few months.
Matches on Disc One
- When World's Collide: Latin Lover, Heavy Metal & Rey Mysterio vs. Madonna's Boyfriend, Fuerza Guerrera, & Psicosis

Disc Two
This DVD covers the middle years of his WCW career and the beginning of his WWE career. The final few years of his WCW career, when he was unmasked, are not covered on this DVD. I can't blame the WWE for making this decision because many of the fans have never seen this footage and to put it bluntly, without his mask Rey looks like a little kid that needs to be carded to enter an R Rated movie. Also of note is that the era of the SmackDown six (Rey, Angle, Edge, Benoit, & Los Guerreros) is not covered because of the hideous actions of one of them. I also can't blame the WWE for that decision because I think there are many fans that are repulsed by the mention of that persons name and would find no entertainment value in any of his matches, no matter how great they were.
Matches on Disc Two

Disc Three
This disc features Rey's climb to the top of the card. While watching this I realized that Rey has always been on SmackDown. Despite being a top star in the company for so many years, there are still some big money feuds that Rey can be involved in. Feuds with the Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels are matches that fans are eagerly anticipating.
Matches on Disc Three
- No Way Out '05: w/Eddie Guerrero vs. The Bashams
- Judgment Day '05: vs. Eddie Guerrero
- 6/23/05: vs. Eddie Guerrero
- Eddie Guerrero Tribute Show: vs. Shawn Michaels

Overall Recommendation
The highest compliment I can give any DVD set is that even with clocking in at nine hours, I am still left wanting more. I am eagerly awaiting a potential third Rey Mysterio DVD set to come out. When I compare this DVD set to his first DVD set, I view them as compliments of each other and not as competition. Both Rey Mysterio DVD sets have a place in any wrestling fans library.
