Review and Recommendation
The Packaging: At some point last year, the WWE stopped putting an insert featuring the chapters on their discs into their DVDs. Having no printed match listings as part of the DVD sets was a horrible practice. While they didn't bring the insert back, I am happy to see that the match listings are printed on the inner sleeve of the DVD set. I prefer this to the old inserts because now you can't accidentally separate the listing from the DVD set.
The Interview: This was the worst part of the DVD for me. Neither Rey nor Matt Striker were particularly exciting to watch during the interview. I found myself starting to get bored towards the end of each segment so whoever edited this did a great job of breaking the interview into pieces. Unfortunately, I lost all interest in this interview towards the end when Rey and Matt were talking about the mask and spoke as though Rey never lost the mask at any point in his career. I don't enjoy when a revealing interview suddenly turns kayfabe.
Overall Recommendation: This DVD set will make a nice addition to your Rey Mysterio collection. When I reviewed The Biggest Little Man a few years ago, I wrote: "I am eagerly awaiting a potential third Rey Mysterio DVD set to come out. When I compare this DVD set to his first DVD set, I view them as compliments of each other and not as competition. Both Rey Mysterio DVD sets have a place in any wrestling fans library." As it turns out, I'm still glad that the WWE released a third Rey DVD and am hoping for a fourth one. However, I would recommend buying either of the first two DVD sets before getting this one.
