- The newly crowned WWE Champion, Edge, and Lita sit at their own personal announcing table at ringside to scout the next match.
John Cena vs Shelton Benjamin –Shelton controlled the majority of the match, but when he missed a corner splash he was hit with the FU. Cena then applied the STFU and made Shelton tap out. After the match, Edge and Cena started brawling with each other. Winner: John Cena
- In the back, Eugene is laughing at clips of what D-X did to Vince McMahon last week. Vince and Shane McMahon approach him and announce a handicap match between the three of them for tonight.
Trish Stratus vs Melina w/Johnny Nitro - Due to the distractions of Johnny Nitro, Melina is able to cradle Trish for a pin. After the match, Nitro & Melina try to double team Trish but Carlito makes the save. These four will be facing each other in a mixed tag team match on Saturday. Winner: Melina
-Edge & Lita try to check into their hotel room but are informed that it isn’t ready yet. They are going to the hotel bar to watch the rest of the show.
The Highlanders vs Matt Striker & Rob Conway – This is a rematch from last week when Striker appeared to walk out on his teammate. This week, The Highlanders hit the Scott Drop on Conway to get the win. Winners: The Highlanders
- Ric Flair is in the ring talking about his problems with Mick Foley. Foley then appears on the Titantron and compares the two mens autobiographies. Mick said that he will not grant Flair a rematch of their match from Vengeance. After Foley image disappears, Paul Heyman comes out. He says that he just made his peace with Mick Foley and the reason Flair can’t is because he lumps everything into one category. Heyman then introduces the new ECW World Champion, The Big Show. The Big Show is the only man to be the champion of WCW, WWE, & ECW. Tomorrow night, Flair will get the chance to join that club.
- Eugene enters the locker room of The McMahon’s and apologizes for offending them. Vince & Shane present Eugene with a D-X shirt and then dump green paint on him. They beat him up and dump his head in the toilet.
- Paul Heyman offers Candice Michelle the chance to dance on ECW tomorrow night. Instead of dancing off against Kelly, she will dance with her.
Viscera vs Charlie Haas – Both wrestlers are fighting each other over their feelings for ring announcer Lillian. Lillian interrupts the match and tells them both that she only wants to be friends with each man. After being temporarily blinded, the 500 plus pound Viscera accidentally gives the Samoan drop to Lillian. When the stretcher arrives, both men start laughing and walk up the ramp together. Winner: No Contest
- Edge & Lita, both intoxicated, are informed that their room will be ready in ten minutes.
Diva Search Round 1: The Miz introduces the eight finalists to the crowd after badly flubbing his lines. All 8 ladies tell the fans why they should vote for them. They will appear on SmacDown! where they will be in a Diva boot camp contest. The Miz screws up the ways to vote again.
- “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan challenges Shane McMahon but is hit in the head with a steel chair by Vince McMahon.
Randy Orton vs Val Venis – Before the match, Orton says that he wants to officially introduce himself to Hulk Hogan on Saturday. Orton wins with the RKO in seconds. [After the match, he says he can’t wait to officially introduce himself to Brooke. Winner: Randy Orton
- Edge & Lita are upset that their room service did not come with champagne. A few minutes later, John Cena storms the room and beats up Edge.
Handicap Match: Vince & Shane McMahon vs Eugene – Prior to the match, The Spirit Squad comes out. Vince is on the mic for the whole match while Shane & The SS beat up Eugene. When they are about to put Eugene through a table, D-X comes out. Vince tries to lure them onto a certain spot on the stage but his plan backfires when his net misses them and Eugene rolls him up for the pin. Winner: Eugene
