- Vince McMahon addresses the crowd and says that his son will be fine due to his superior genetics. Vince then says that Triple H will be forced to publicly apologize for accidentally hitting Shane with a sledge hammer last week.
- Mick Foley enters the ring to present Edge with a gift. He gives Edge the retired hardcore title. Edge, accompanied by Lita, refuses to accept the title. The men decide to become the co-holders of the title. Paul Heyman, the former owner of ECW and not the founder like JR claimed, came on the ramp and traded insults with the men in the ring. Paul then challenged them to fight for the title at ECW One Night Stand against the team of his choice. When Edge & Foley attempt to attack Heyman, Terry Funk and Tommy Dreamer run Edge and Foley out of the ring.
I-C Title Match: Champ Shelton Benjamin vs Rob Van Dam – After the ref hurts his leg, Shelton brings his title into the ring. RVD is disqualified for hitting the Van Daminator. After the match, RVD hit the 5 star splash on Shelton. Winner: Shelton Benjamin by DQ
- Vince is in the locker room with ZZ Top and tells them that he beat Triple H in this arena for the WWE title several years ago. Candice Michelle enters the room to entertain ZZ Top while Vince goes to the ring to get his apology.
- Triple H tells Vince that he is sorry. Vince then says that he will only accept the apology if he hits Shawn Michaels with the sledge hammer later tonight.
- Kane is interviewed by Todd Grisham. He explains that May 19 is the day that his family was killed in the fire.
Non-title Match: WWE Champ John Cena vs Chris Masters – Before the commercial break, Masters was in control of the match. When the show came back on, Cena was dominating the match and he locked the STFU on Masters to get the win. After the match, Rob Van Dam came out and announced that he will be cashing in his money in the bank title shot at ECW One Night Stand. The two men brawl and it ends with RVD “hitting” the Van Daminator with the brief case. Winner: John Cena
- Carlito and Maria are in the back and they are leaving to go to a casino. They meet up with Snitsky who says that he has a date with someone from an ad. He massages the feet of what appears to be a showgirl and then looks up to see that it is Goldust.
Kane vs Trevor Murdoch – Kane destroys Murdoch and wins with the choke slam. After the match, Kane gives him two more because he felt like it. When he tried to leave the ring, an ominous message was played saying that it has only just begun. Winner: Kane
Non-title match: Women’s Champ Mickie James vs Torrie Wilson w/Chloe – Mickie easily wins this match with a DDT. After the match, Trish Stratus comes out and announce the newest WWE Diva, Beth Phoenix. Beth attacks Mickie from behind and then chases her through the crowd. Winner: Mickie James
- Viscera is in the ring and proposes to Lillian Garcia. Before she can answer, Armando Alejandro Estrada interrupts them and calls out Umaga. Umaga’s path of destruction continues and he destroys the world’s largest love machine.
Handicap Match: Shawn Michaels vs The Spirit Squad – Before the match, Vince makes the ref get out of the ring. All 5 men pounce on Shawn and beat him for several minutes and appear to injure Shawn’s leg. Vince calls out HHH to hit Shawn with the sledge hammer. Before HHH could use the weapon, Kenny ripped it out of his hand. HHH didn’t like this and Kenny tried to hit HHH with the hammer. HHH responded by beating up all 5 members of the Spirit Squad and the had a stare down with Vince to end the show. Winner: No Contest
