- Triple H is in the ring and calls out John Cena. When the two men were about to fight, Vince McMahon stopped them. He promised Triple H a future title shot but tonight he had to take the night off. Vince then made a match, Cena and Shawn Michaels against The Spirit Squad.
- Prior to his match, Rob Van Dam grabbed the ring mic and said that he agreed with everything Joey Styles said last week and asked the fans to chant ECW instead of RVD tonight.
Fatal Fourway for I-C Title: Champ Rob Van Dam vs Charlie Haas vs Chris Masters vs Shelton Benjamin - The rules state that all 4 men compete at the same time and the first man to score a pin or submission will be the champ. When Chris Masters has Haas in the master lock, RVD jumped off the top ropes and delivered a sunset flip to pin Masters. Winner: Rob Van Dam
- Todd Grisham interviews a few of Kane’s See No Evil costars in the back. One of the actors says May 19 and Kane chokes him.
Matt Striker vs Carlito – When Carlito has the advantage, Eugene comes out to beat up Striker. After the ref disqualifies Carlito, Carlito beats up both Matt and Eugene. Winner: Matt Striker by DQ
- Edge enters the ring for his match against Mick Foley. Last week Edge said Foley could have any type of match he wanted. Foley said that the winner of tonight’s match would be known as the greatest hardcore wrestler alive today and that there couldn’t be hardcore without ECW. Foley announces that he wants a hardcore triple threat match with ECW star Tommy Dreamer as the third man.
Hardcore Triple Threat Match: Edge w/Lita vs Mick Foley vs Tommy Dreamer – It appeared that Foley and Dreamer were going to beat up Edge tonight but that didn’t happen. In a major swerve, Foley attacked Dreamer with his barbed wire baseball bat and worked in unison with his “enemy” Edge. After they bloodied up Dreamer with the barbed wire, they hit a mandible claw/spear combo on Dreamer and both men pinned him. Edge, Foley and Lita left the ring together. Winners: Edge & Mick Foley
Mickie James vs Maria w/Trish Stratus – Trish’s arm is in a sling due to her shoulder injury. Mickie easily wins this match with a DDT. After the match, Mickie attacks Trish and is saved by an unnamed person. This new WWE Diva appears to be someone from Mickie’s past. Winner: Mickie James
Handicap Match: Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada vs Tommy Wilson & Kevin Martinson – Umaga easily destroys both of his opponents and pins Martinson after hitting the spike. Winner: Umaga
Kane vs The Big Show – The majority of the match is a friendly scientific wrestling bout. The lights went out and May 19 was said over the P.A. system which made Kane go berserk. He grabbed a chair and hit The Big Show close to a dozen times with it. Winner: No Contest
Handicap Match: The Spirit Squad (Kenny/Mikey/Nicky/Johnny/Mitch) vs John Cena & Shawn Michaels – The SS work over John Cena for most of the match. When Cena makes the hot tag to Shawn, the SS work over Cena outside the ring and inside the ring Kenny uses the tag team titles on Shawn to get the pin. After the match, Kenny starts to whip Shawn with the ref’s belt. When Triple H comes walking in from the back, Cena clears the SS from the ring. Triple H enters the ring and gives Cena the pedigree. He leaves Shawn alone and makes a few D-X crotch chops. This is two weeks in a row that Triple H has defied Vince McMahon’s orders. Winner: The Spirit Squad
