- This is another RAW that starts of with a 10+ minute segement in the ring with Edge, Cena, & Triple H insulting each other. Cena clears both men from the ring when The Spirit Squad appears at the top of the ramp. They make a cheer informing everyone that they will be facing Edge, Cena, & Triple H in a 5 on 3 match.
Rob Van Dam, Charlie Haas, & Carlito vs Shelton Benjamin, Chris Masters, & Matt Striker –RVD vs Shelton and Carlito vs Masters are two matches scheduled for Sunday’s PPV. The rules of tag team wrestling go out the window. This one ended when RVD hit Shelton with the rolling thunder and 5 star splash to get the win for his team. Winners: Rob Van Dam, Charlie Haas, & Carlito
- Vince is interviewed by Todd Grisham in his offices and says that what happened last week was a series of coincidences caused by bad fuses in the pyro and not an act of divine intervention. Shane appears and swears that Shawn Michaels will not be able to walk out of the ring on his own tonight.
- Kane and The Big Show confront each other in the back. The Big Show says May 19 which causes them to brawl with each other. Kane injures the left eye of TBS.
Divas Bikini Contest: Victoria vs Candice Michelle vs Maria vs Torrie Wilson – Each woman has 30 seconds to model their bikini and the fans decide who wins by their applause. Candice goes last and gives a kiss to Victoria. The crowd clearly backs Maria & Torrie but The Coach declares Candice the winner. The Coach then tries to force Candice to make out with him but is interrupted by Viscera, the world’s largest love machine. Viscera crushed The Coach and gives Candice a big kiss. The Coach is gone from the announce table for the rest of the night. Winner: Candice Michelle
Shawn Michaels vs Shane McMahon w/Vince McMahon - Vince constantly interferes in this match to give his son an advantage. Shawn is about to hit the sweet chin music when Vince pulls Shawn out of the ring. With this distraction, Shane hit Shawn with a low blow followed by Vince hitting Shawn with the ring bell. They place Shawn on the announce table and Shane delivers an elbow from the top rope through the table. Vince then gets on the mic and tells Shawn that God has abandoned him and that Shawn will have no chance in hell at Backlash. Winner: No Contest

Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada vs Steve Lewington - Lewington is a local wrestler from London. Umaga destroys Steve and wins with the thumb spike to the throat. After the match, Ric Flair stormed the ring and beat up Umaga as a receipt for hat was done to him a few weeks ago. Winner: Umaga
- Lita tries to talk to Triple H about tonight’s match. The segment ends with Triple H asking Lita for advice about tonight’s match since she has a lot of experience taking on 5 men at once.
- Ric Flair vs Umaga has been added to Backlash.
- Mickie James comes out dressed like herself and says that she doesn’t need to be Trish Stratus anymore because she is better. Trish then comes out acting like Mickie. Trish then hits Mickie with the chick kick. 5 on 3 Handicap Match: Spirit Squad vs Edge w/Lita, Triple H, & John Cena – After a few minutes, Edge left his partners while Cena & Triple H gave Spirit Squad members the pedigree & FU simultaneously. Cena & Triple H then started to fight with each other to end the show. Winner: No Contest
