Starting with WrestleMania 21 in 2005, WrestleMania has featured a Money in the Bank Ladder match. The goal of the match is to climb a ladder and retrieve a suitcase hanging over the ring. Inside that suitcase is a title shot that can be used for whatever title the holder of the suitcase wants whenever they want to use it for up to a year.
