Mulligan/Windham Family Tree

By

The Mulligan family is one of the most successful in wrestling history and only one of three families to feature both a father and his son in the WWE Hall of Fame. However, the family isn't as famous as either the Hart or Von Erich families partially due to the family members using different last names for their stage names.

Blackjack Mulligan is the patriarch of the family. His is most famous for his success in the tag team ranks where he was a part of the Blackjacks along with Blackjack Lanza. In the AWA, they were managed by Bobby Heenan and in the WWE, where they won the tag team championship, they were managed by Captain Lou Albano. He also had a successful career as a singles star and had feuds for the WWE Championship against Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, and Bob Backlund. One of his trademarks was wearing a black glove and applying the clawhold to his opponent's head. The move was so devastating that the WWE used to put giant X's on the television screen when he applied to hold to his opponent. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.

Barry Windham

Barry Windham chose to wrestle under his given name rather than his father's stage name. However, just like his father, he won tag team gold in the WWE while being managed by Lou Albano. That tag team with Mike Rotundo, known as the US Express, were the first wrestlers to use Real American as their theme song. After leaving the WWE, Barry went on to have some great success in WCW. In 1987, Barry had a classic series of bouts against Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The following year, Barry joined Flair's group, the Four Horsemen. That incarnation of the group was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012. In addition to all of those accolades, Barry won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in 1993 by defeating The Great Muta at Superbrawl III.

Kendall Windham

Kendall Windham is the younger brother of Barry Windham. In the late-90's, Barry and Kendall joined forces as part of the West Texas Rednecks. The brothers won the WCW Tag Team Championship from another set of brothers, Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray).

Mike Rotundo/Irwin R Schyster

Mike Rotundo is the son-in-law of Blackjack Mulligan and the brother-in-law of Barry and Kendall Windham. In 1985, Mike and Barry won the WWE World Tag Team Championship on two occasions. In 1988, he had a nearly year-long title reign as the NWA Television Champion while he was a part of the Varsity Club. However, he is probably most famous to wrestling fans for his second stint in the WWE where he was known as Irwin R. Schyster. During his quest to rid the WWE of tax cheats, he wound up as part of a tag team known as Money Inc. IRS and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase went on to win the WWE World Tag Team Championship on three separate occasions.

Husky Harris/Bray Wyatt

Husky Harris is the son of Mike Rotundo and grandson of Blackjack Mulligan. He was a contestant during season 2 of WWE NXT and was trained on the show by Cody Rhodes. A few months after being eliminated from the show, Husky Harris joined the Nexus. After that group broke up, he joined the New Nexus. In 2011, he was punted in the head by Randy Orton. He returned to WWE television two years later wrestling under the name of Bray Wyatt. He is not related to any other members of the Wyatt family.

Bo Rotundo/Bo Dallas

Bo Rotundo is the younger brother of Husky Harris/Brad Wyatt. He made his WWE television debut during the 2013 Royal Rumble Match but didn't last on the main roster for long.  The following year, he returned under the name of Bo Dallas with a motivational gimmick where his mantra was to "Bo-lieve".
