Sheamus DVD Review

Despite being a WWE Superstar for less than three years, Sheamus entered WrestleMania XXVIII as a former two-time WWE Champion, a one-time United States Champion, a King of the Ring Winner, and a winner of the Royal Rumble. This 90-minute value priced DVD features all of those career highlights prior to his addition of the World Heavyweight Championship to his resume.

Format of the DVD: As is the case with all of the previous sets in the Superstar Collection, this DVD is approximately 90-minutes long. It features footage from five matches following a brief video introduction to start the disc off.

Editing on the DVD: There is one huge edit on this DVD. The chapter for the Royal Rumble Match begins at the point Sheamus enters the match in the number 22 slot.

Match Selection: Since this DVD was produced, Sheamus has gone on to win the World Heavyweight Championship. With the exception of those missing few seconds, I can't complain about the matches selected for this disc. In 90-minutes, the company produced a DVD that featured all of his major accomplishments with only one match being repeated from a non-PPV DVD set.

Overall Recommendation: Of the four discs I've reviewed in this series, I think this is the most historically important one to have in your wrestling DVD library. I can easily see this DVD causing an issue in a few years when Sheamus eventually gets the three-disc DVD treatment and some of these matches will have to be repeated on that set.
