The champions were accompanied to the ring by Rosa Mendes. The rules of this match stipulated that a member of all three teams would have to have to be in the ring at all times. Kane went to the top rope but was hit with a drop kick on the way down. Orton then went for a punt but was caught with a choke slam instead. Randy was able to kick out at the count of two. A few moments later, Orton missed another attempt at the RKO. Orton then went for a superplex but Kane delivered a choke slam off the top rope to get the win. Winner: Kane

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve - Maria Menounos entered this match with two cracked ribs and two stress fractures in her foot which she got while training for Dancing With the Stars. Beth and Eve targeted the ribs of the celebrity. When Beth Phoenix went for a Glam Slam on Kelly Kelly, she turned it into a bulldog. Winners: Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

- A brand new attendance record for Sun Life Stadium has been set as 78,363 fans were in attendance for this show.

- Jim Ross came out to do commentary for the Hell in a Cell Match.

Hell in a Cell Match With Special Guest Referee Shawn Michaels: The Undertaker vs. Triple H - The Undertaker has cut off his long hair and is now sporting a buzz cut. The Cell is very narrow as there is barely any room between the ring steps and the cage. Triple H seemed to be in control of the bout when he gave the Undertaker the spinebuster onto the ring steps which were brought into the ring. However, the Undertaker put Triple H in the Hells Gate when he went back to attack him. Unlike last year, Triple H was able to power out of the move. Triple H then went to town with chair shots to the back of the Undertaker. Shawn grabbed the chair from Triple H and was then told by the Undertaker not to stop the match. He went to work on the Undertaker with another chair. Triple H started to scream at Shawn to "end it before I do". Triple H grabbed his sledgehammer and Shawn started to plead with the Undertaker to let him ring the bell. Even after being hit in the face with the sledgehammer, the Undertaker refused to be pinned. When Triple H went for an overhead shot with the hammer to the head of the Undertaker, Shawn grabbed it from Triple H. At this point, Shawn was very conflicted about stopping the bout and when Shawn went back to check on him, Undertaker put Shawn in the Hell's Gate. Undertaker then put Triple H in the Hell's Gate and knocked him out but Shawn couldn't end the bout because he was also unconscious from the move. Referee Charles Robinson entered the ring when Undertaker hit Triple H with a choke slam which Triple H was able to kick out of at two. The Undertaker then choke slammed the new referee. Shawn then hit Undertaker with the Sweet Chin Music and Triple H gave the Undertaker a pedigree but the Undertaker was still able to kick out at two. Triple H wanted to use he sledgehammer on the Undertaker but was stooped by Shawn which led to Triple H tossing his friend out of the ring. Undertaker got his second wind and was able to hit the Tombstone but was only able to get a two count out of the move. A few moments later, Undertaker kicked out at two after receiving his second pedigree. When Triple H went for his sledgehammer, Undertaker stepped on it and started leveling Triple H with chair shots. Triple H went for another sledgehammer shot but Triple H grabbed it from him. Triple H gave Undertaker the crotch chop and was greeted with a sledgehammer shot for his act of defiance. Undertaker then gave Triple H the Tombstone to finally get the win. The Undertaker is now 20-0 at WrestleMania. In a sign of respect, Undertaker and Shawn helped bring Triple H to the back. Winner: The Undertaker

- The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2012 was introduced to the crowd.

- Heath Slater talked to Flo Rida and tried to get a spot into his performance later on in the show. After telling Heath that he could hold his microphone, the rapper shoved "The One Man Southern Rock Band" into the wall.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella , R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali, & Booker T) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga, Mark Henry, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, & The Miz) - John Laurinaitis, Brie Bella, and Vickie Guerrero were at ringside for Team Johnny while Teddy Long, Aksana, Nikki Bella, and Hornswoggle were at ringside for Team Teddy. The referee lost total control of the match and everyone was outside of the ring except for Santino Marella and the Miz. Santino hit the Miz with the Cobra but Dolph Ziggler saved his teammate. Zack Ryder then took control of the bout when his "girlfriend" Eve entered the ring to go "Wooh! Wooh! Wooh!" with him.. When Zack tried to bring his girlfrend to safety, the Miz gave him the Skull Crushing Finale to get the win for his team. As a result of this bout, John Lauriniaitis has taken Teddy Long's job as the General Manager of SmackDown and he is now in charge of both shows. After the bout, Eve kicked Zack in the groin. Winners: Team Johnny

- Torrie Wilson was shown sitting in the front row with her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez. Andy Garcia was also in the crowd.

- In the back, John Laurinaitis met up with CM Punk. He changed the rules of the upcoming bout and declared that if Punk gets disqualified, he can lose the title.

WWE Championship: Champion CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho - Jericho insulted the champion's family and slapped his face several times in an attempt to get Punk to lose his composure and get himself disqualified. The challenger took control of the match when he gave Punk a suplex from the inside of the ring to the floor at ringside. The champion lucked out when he was hit the Codebreaker but was so close to the ropes that he accidentally fell out of the ring. A few moments later, Punk gave Jericho the Go To Sleep but Jericho was too close to the ropes and was able to get the count broken. Later on, Punk tried to give Jericho a hurricanrana of the top rope but Jericho reversed it into the Walls of Jericho. Punk was able to grab the ropes to break the hold. Jericho hit another Code Breaker, this time in mid-air, when Punk went for a move off the top ropes. When he didn't get the win, Jericho went to the top rope and was caught in a position where Punk could give him a GTS. However, Jericho was able to reverse it into another Walls of Jericho. Punk was able to reverse it and put Jericho in the Anaconda Vice. Jericho was able to reverse the move with a few shots from his knees. He tried for the Walls of Jericho again which Punk was able to reverse back into the Anaconda Vice. This time, Punk positioned himself so Jericho couldn't knee him in the head. Jericho was then forced to tap out. Winner: CM Punk

- Brodus Clay came out to dance and call his momma. When he called her, it turned out she was at the stadium with her bridge club. They all joined him in doing the Funkasaurus.

Sean "Diddy" Combs came out to introduce Machine Gun Kelly who performed Invincible, John Cena's official theme song for this match. Cena came out wearing a new green t-shirt and is back to wearing his jean shorts. Not to be outdone, Flo Rida came out to perform Wild Ones and Good Feelings before the Rock was introduced.

John Cena vs. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - The very vocal crowd was split but favored the Rock in this bout. Cena injured Rock's ribs early in the match and further aggravated the injury when he slammed him in the announcer's table. Out of nowhere, when Rock mocked Cena's "You Can't See Me", Cena hit the Rock with the Attitude Adjustment but couldn't get the win. A few seconds later, Rock hit the Rock Bottom but he couldn't get the winning pin fall either. A few minutes later, Rock put Cena in the Sharpshooter which Cena broke by grabbing the ropes. Rock put him in the move again and Cena escaped the same way. Cena then got into the submission game when he put the Rock into the STF. The Rock's hands went down twice but when the referee lifted it up for the third time, the Rock came back to life and grabbed the ropes to break the hold. The Rock recovered enough to give Cena the spinebuster and followed it with the People's Elbow. However, Cena was able to kick out at two. Cena appeared to have won the match after hitting an Attitude Adjustment but only got a 2 count. Cena then got really cocky and instead of going for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle he went for the People's Elbow. When he went for the move, the Rock hit him with a Rock Bottom to get the win. Winner: The Rock

What does this event mean for the future?
The Rock has now beaten Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and John Cena at WrestleMania, the one man he hasn't is the Undertaker. I think we will be seeing those two men fight at next year's show. As far as Cena's opponent goes, it the news that came out earlier today is true then I can see him fighting Brock Lesnar next year. Earlier today, many sites reported that Brock has just signed a one-year contract with the company.

In the short-term, the big news coming out of this show is John Laurinaitis taking over SmackDown. Johnny's upcoming reign of terror will impact everything else we will be seeing over the next few months.

Overall Thoughts
This was a great WrestleMania. It featured my favorite set in the history of the show and had a big-fight feel to it. The Hell in a Cell Match was better than I thought it had any chance of being and the main event truly had a "once in a lifetime" feel to it. Add in a great WWE Championship Match and this show was easily worth the purchase price.
