What I Said Then: Fun show. The reason to buy this one was to see how the Rock looked and he did not disappoint. He showed no signs of ring rust, was quicker than I ever remember seeing him, and still has it on the microphone. The crowd at MSG was loud all night and had some good reasons to be. This show was definitely worth paying for.
Has My Opinion Changed? No.
Overall Recommendation:
I really enjoyed this show and think this DVD is worth at least a rental. As far as buying the DVD, the reason to have this one in your collection is for the historic main event. That match is not on the Best Pay-Per-View Matches of 2011 DVD set which was recently released. The reason it wasn't is because that DVD set ends with Vengeance. If you were only going to buy Survivor Series 2011 on DVD for the main event, I would suggest waiting until the match listing for the upcoming DVD set for The Rock is released. That set, which will also be available on Blu-ray, will be released a few weeks before his big match against John Cena at WrestleMania.
