There are some events that make you embarrassed to admit to being a fan. These are the 10 moments that left fans scratching their heads.
1. Tim White Suicide
Referee Tim White suffered a career ending injury during a Hell in a Cell Match a few years back. During the Armageddon PPV, he was talking about how HIAC is a life changing experience and details all his problems since the injury including Irritable Bowel Syndrome. He then proceeded to shoot himself off camera. In reality, people actually called the police thinking this was real and they had to break down the door to his bar because it was closed.
2. The Dicks
James and Chad Dick are a SmackDown! tag team. During their only 2005 SD interview they described how their bodies were rock hard and how they are a tough team to beat. They then proceeded to rub baby oil on themselves. In their SmackDown! wrestling debut they used their bottles of baby oil to blind their opponents. They took a few months off and returned at the end of the year without the baby oil.
3. X-Pac & Chyna
The X-Pac/Chyna love affair moved from the porno shelves of 2004 to the Surreal Life in 2005. As if their behavior on that show wasn't bad enough, they then proceeded to continue airing their personal problems on the Howard Stern radio show.
4. Queering Don't Make the World Work
During a speech at the University of Connecticut, Warrior let the world know what he felt about the homosexual lifestyle. For those that don't know, Warrior is now his the Ultimate Warrior's legal name. He is a conservative speaker and teaches others the principles of destrucity to better their lives. I can't figure out if this is a step back or forward for Warrior when compared to his comic book that was published a few years ago featuring him forcing Santa into bondage.
5. The Junior Division
Part of the new talent initiative on SmackDown! in 2005 featured the creation of the Juniors Division. This name of the division is a politically correct term for midget wrestling. Nothing about the division was politically correct though. The lowlight was probably Super Porky eating a turkey while The Boogey Man was scaring the other Juniors. The division lasted a few weeks.
6. Dr. Heiny
During the angle featuring the 237th firing of JR, Vince made fun of JR's upcoming colon surgery by portraying the character of Dr. Heiny. He then proceeded to clear up the blockage in JR's colon. He discovered an Oklahoma football helmet, a bottle of JR's BBQ sauce, a Stone Cold Water bottle, a hand, and a mask of JR to illustrate that JR has his head up his you know what. After performing this surgery, Dr. Heiny proceeded to make out with Nurse Slobberknockers on the operating table.
7. Hassan - The American who Hates Americans
Hassan was an Arab-American that was treated poorly by his fellow Americans after 9/11. After that event, his Uncle's deli suffered financially because people didn't shop there anymore. He took his anger out on The Undertaker by hiring terrorists to kill him on a TV show that was telecast the same day as the London bombings. Hassan was never seen on UPN again.
8. Jillian Hall
If there is one thing the WWE does not lack it is beautiful women. They however lack beautiful women with giant moles on their faces (think Austin Powers 3 but much bigger). When she wrestles, she has to have her mole in protective gear.
9. Diva Search 2
While none of this year's contestants sat on a pie because her butt was hungry, the lack of real talent was on display. One contestant could not perform a jumping jack while another had the talent of rolling around in paint to make art. If you ever wanted to know how to get a crowd with over 15,000 men to viciously boo beautiful women, this contest was required viewing.
10. Dominick Custody Battle
The Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio feud was going on for a while and the creative team needed to find a way to keep it going. They did this by portraying Rey's real life son Dominck as being the adopted son of Eddie Guerrero. They then proceeded to have a match where the custody papers for Dominck were hanging from the rafters and the first man to grab the papers would have custody of Dominick.
