Hogan Knows Best Episode 2 Recap
Sunday March 26, 2006
Hulk Hogan feels that his kids are too spoiled and forces them to work in a diner.
- Nick just bought over $4,000 in auto parts. When Hulk asks how long it takes to make that much money, Nick responds by saying 30 seconds in MSG. Hulk then has to clean up after Brooke and sees her getting a massage. She says that she isn’t feeling well and that he also gets massages when he isn’t well. Hulk says that he gets them after getting his head rammed into a steel cage. Hulk feels that he went from being the greatest world champ to a jabroni.
- Linda and Hulk discuss what needs to be done with the kids. They start off by giving them chores. Nick has to wash the cars and Brooke has to do some housework. Both kids slack off and Hulk and Linda go to plan B. They make the kids give up their luxury items (phones credit cards, iPod, etc..) and have arranged for them to work at a diner. Brooke is given the job of a waitress and Nick is working as a dish washer. On the first day, both kids have problems. Brooke has problems with the customer’s orders and Nick is intent on breaking the rules.
- When the kids come home, they are informed that they will have to keep the jobs and in addition continue to keep up with all their schoolwork and career aspirations. A scene of Brooke with her choreographer is shown. She is stressed out about having to learn new dances and be a waitress.
- A few days later, Hulk invites many of his friends to the diner. His dinner guests include Brian Knobbs and Jimmy Hart. Everyone tries to make their order as difficult as possible for the kids. At one point they all start chanting for Brooke because they feel the service is too slow. Brian Knobbs purposely knocks his drink to the ground so Nick will have to clean up the mess.
- The kids come home with their paychecks. Hulk and Linda now feel that the kids have an understanding of what the real world is all about. Hulk and Linda inform the kids that they do not have to work at the diner again, but if they start to slack off again and don’t appreciate all opportunities they have, then they will be back at the diner again. The kids are then given back their luxury items.
