Surreal Life Episode 2 Recap

Tonight’s episode features the housemates helping house mate Steve Harwell film a Smashmouth video. After the video shoot, the housemates celebrate with a game of truth or dare minus the truth.
- The cast get their assignment, which is to help Steve film a video for his band Smashmouth. The story of the video for the song, Story of My Life, is that Steve can’t find his hotel room and keeps entering the wrong room. Each room will have a bizarre situation. Tawny is put in charge as the producer and is responsible for the prop budget and for coming up with the ideas for each room.
- The house mates (minus Steve) all go to the prop store. They meet up with Florence Henderson. For some reason, Tawny was under the impression that Florence was going to be bringing dominatrix gear to the video shoot. The house guests don’t like Tawny’s ruling over them and vetoing their ideas. When they leave the store, they have used less than 2/3 of the prop budget. Tawny lets Steve know this thinking it is a good thing but he is less than enthused.
- The housemates film some bizarre scenes. The first one is C.C. and Florence trying out for Smashmouth. Others include Maven as a DEA agent giving Andrea a massage, Sherman playing the harp for Tawny dressed as a nun, Alexis Arquette dressed as a sheik getting a dance from Andrea, and Tawny reliving her greatest career moment and dancing on a car. Many of the houseguests were upset at the way Tawny handled things and Florence left the video shoot due to the nun outfit.
- After filming the video, the cast celebrates at the house by having margaritas. CC has to make his a virgin because he just got out of rehab. All the glasses have tags on them that have dares on them. Andrea jumps into the pool naked. When she comes out of the pool, CC kisses her. Then Alexis gives Maven a lap dance. Maven then attempts to make a whipped cream bikini with out much success. Alexis then licks Maven's bikini. After the housemates go to sleep, the video is shown. Next week’s episode will feature the cast doing a live news cast.
