Jack Swagger's Road to WrestleMania hasn't gone as smoothly as everyone thought it would. On Sunday night, he earned the right to fight Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX. Two nights later, he was arrested on charges of marijuana possession, DUI (not alcohol) and speeding.
On Tuesday night, Jake Hager, better known to wrestling fans as Jack Swagger, was in Biloxi, Mississippi, for the taping of WWE SmackDown. According to Sunherald.com, after the show had finished taping, he was pulled over in nearby Gulfport by police for speeding. He was taken into custody by police and charged with the three previously mentioned misdemeanors before being released. He is due to appear in court on March 12.
As far as Swagger's future goes, it is very possible this incident could result in him losing his title shot. The last time something like this happened was when WWE and ECW Champion Rob Van Dam was busted with some weed in his car. Within days of that incident, Rob lost both of those championships.

What a dummy. He was about to get a push after they were basically using him as a squash opponent before he left months ago. I can’t see Vince letting him main event Wrestlemainia now.
