By September 6, 2012

Follow me on:

Celebrity Networth.com has recently compiled a list of the richest wrestlers in the world. The most notable thing about their list is that most of the wrestlers on it are either retired or wrestle on very rare occasions. Only eight of the top 27 richest wrestlers still lace up their boots and compete on television almost every week.

10 Richest Wrestlers
  1. The Rock: $70 Million
  2. Steve Austin: $45 Million
  3. John Cena: $35 Million
  4. Big Show: $30 Million
  5. Triple H: $25 Million
  6. Kurt Angle: $20 million
  7. Chris Jericho: $18 Million
  8. Shawn Michaels: $17 Million
  9. Undertaker: $16 Million
  10. Mick Foley: $15 Million
8 Richest Active Full-time Wrestlers
  1. John Cena: $35 Million
  2. Big Show: $30 Million
  3. Kurt Angle: $20 million
  4. Rey Mysterio: $8.5 Million
  5. CM Punk: $7.5 Million
  6. Randy Orton: $6 Million
  7. Alberto Del Rio: $6 Million
  8. The Miz: $5 Million

Great to see Hickenbottom on this list. This is much better than when he almost went bankrupt due to the accident in his wrestling school.

So, basically, the guys currently doing movies and TV shows are the richest, and the next rung is people who are on all of the best-selling DVD’s. Sounds great to me.

How is The Big Show worth $30?? Has he done a load of rubbish movies or something? Surely it can’t be based on his wrestling box office appeal? Which is surely 0? I’ve never seen a good Big Show or Giant match. To my knowledge none exist!

It would be really interesting to see a list based only on wrestling income. Also The Miz & Alberto Del Rio on $5m & $6m? Again, two guys with little or no box office appeal.

I think that the Big Show signed a long term contract. That may be why his net worth is so high. I’m with you Sam. Can’t see why he is worth so much.

I think big show is worth 30m because he is a former world champ and I’ve seen plenty of great big show matches u surely haven’t seen good wrestling.
