The wrestling world was reminded just how dangerous the sport can be earlier this week when news broke that an aspiring wrestler died from an injury to his head he suffered while practicing a wrestling move at Gillberg's Pro Wrestling Academy. Quentin V. Jackson was only 25 years old.
The Gillberg Wrestling Academy is located in Severn, Maryland, and is run by former WWE Superstar Duane Gill. In the late '90s, he was repacked as Gillberg to mock the success WCW was having with Bill Goldberg. In 1998, he won the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship from Christian and went on to hold the title for over a year.
