For the second time in a little over three months, Evan Bourne has been suspended for a violation of the WWE Talent Wellness Program. Due to this being his second strike, his suspension will be for 60 days without pay.
Up until Sunday night, Evan was a WWE Tag Team Champion with Kofi Kingston. The most notable event during their tenure as tag team champions was Evan's first suspension, which lasted for 30 days.
If Evan is found in violation of the program again, his WWE contract will be terminated. Once that happens to a wrestler, they are prohibited from returning to the company for a year. After a year, a wrestler becomes eligible to return to the company if they pass a pre-contract screening test. The wrestler would then reenter the company with two strikes against them.

Eric, I feel bad for Kofi, I am ot sure how into this air boom tag team he was but becaus his partner, Evan, can’t pass the tests, then Kofi is penalized by having to lose the title, the writers should have gone with a story where Kofi got to pick a new partner for the interim…. using the Truth or even JTG as a stand in would have been interesting…or what if he chose one of the USO’s… so much potential…
