"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels began his WWE career as a tag team specialist as one-half of The Rockers with Marty Jannetty. He would go on to become one of the most successful and controversial superstars in wrestling history due to a combination of his personal demons and in-ring performance with the cutting-edge group D-Generation X. A back injury put a halt to his career while he was at the top of his game. He would return a few years later with a new attitude towards life due to becoming born-again.  It just wasn't his faith that was born again, upon his return he looked better in the ring than he did before he was injured. Due to his show-stopping ability, "The Showstopper" earned the moniker of "Mr. WrestleMania" due to consistently putting on the best match of the year at the biggest show of the year.

The following is a timeline of the WWE career of Shawn Michaels. Listed is every PPV match (excluding battle royals where he was not involved in the ending) and title change that he has been involved in.
