The WWE has made major changes to their films division that will result in a change to the on-screen product and many more films being released. Brock Lesnar discussed his medical issues with ESPN and has made an announcement about whether he will return to the Octagon. A TNA Knockout tries to knock out a TNA interviewer, a top WWE star has a police report filed against him, a former tag team champion is looking for love on TV, and a new wrestling promotion will debut on TV soon.

Brock Lesnar Health Update
As everyone knows, Brock Lesnar has been out of action due to medical issues. He finally discussed his situation in an interview with ESPN where he was joined by UFC President Dana White. Brock suffered from diverticulosis, which is an intestinal infection. He told ESPN that he was very close to having a surgery that could have put his UFC career in jeopardy. At one point in his illness, Brock had lost 40 pounds. He will return to the Octagon sometime this summer and will most likely defend his UFC Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin fight for the Interim Championship which takes place on March 27. Brock is 1-1 against Frank Mir and was supposed to face Shane Carwin last year but that fight was canceled due to Brock's medical issues. His interview on ESPN can be viewed here.

Awesome Kong vs. Bubba the Love Sponge
On Friday, TNA interviewer Bubba the Love Sponge showed that he is just as funny as he is talented as an interviewer when he said "F*** Haiti". Over the next few days, Bubba lashed out at those that disagreed with him and wrestling fans in general after some of them started a Fire Bubba site on FaceBook. All of this controversy led to Bubba not being seen on the Genesis telecast on Sunday. He whined about this on his Twitter account on Monday then made a shocking reversal later in the day and apologized for his comments.

Over the weekend, while Bubba was trashing people for supporting Haiti, Awesome Kong was out trying to raise money for the country which has been devastated. According to Bubba's show on Tuesday, it appears that Awesome Kong attacked Bubba when they met on Monday. While Bubba whined to his buddy Hulk about the incident on Tuesday, Awesome Kong summed up the incident on her Twitter account when she wrote: "Kongfucious says: sometimes you must feed someone a fist to make them eat their own words."

Major Changes to WWE Studios
Variety.com is reporting that WWE Studios has parted ways with 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate and has signed a new deal with Samuel Goldwyn and Vivendi Entertainment. As part of the deal, the WWE will film 12 movies by 2012. The changes will also be made visible on the screen. The company will now make family-friendly movies to match their television shows. The movies will also feature the WWE stars interact with more established actors than in the past.

The next WWE movie will be released this summer and stars John Cena, Patricia Clarkson, and Danny Glover in a family drama called Brother's Keeper. In the fall, Big Show will star in a comedy called Knucklehead that will also feature Dennis Farina. Another comedy for John Cena, a coming-of-age drama for Randy Orton, and a thriller for Batista are currently in the works.

Police Report Filed Against Randy Orton
Last week, a police report was filed against Randy Orton in Saugus, Massachusetts, for allegedly spitting gum in the face of a juvenile and swearing at him. The claim was filed after Randy allegedly spit gum at and cursed at a 15-year old when he was leaving a restaurant. Supposedly when the teen's mother confronted Randy about this, he yelled at her to sue him. However, a witness has come forward today to say that he heard the youngster curse at Randy but that from his vantage point that he did not see Randy do anything to the youth in question. Police have filed a hearing request for simple assault and battery and it is up to a clerk magistrate to determine whether the incident warrants a criminal complaint. Former WWE Tag Team Champion Tries To Seduce Cindy Margolis
Kenny Doane, better known to WWE fans as Kenny Dykstra of the Spirit Squad will be on the upcoming reality TV show Seducing Cindy. The show features 24 men trying to win the heart of Cindy Margolis, whose claim to fame is that she was the most downloaded woman on the Internet in 2000. The show will last for 8 one-hour episodes and it debuts on Saturday, January 30, at 9:00 PM EST on the FOX Reality Channel.

I have a confession to make. All of these dating shows gross me out. Just the thought of being the 24th person to swap spit with someone in a matter of minutes makes we want to drink a bottle of Listerine. Seriously, check out this preview video for the show and tell me there is anything romantic about kissing Cindy after this cast of characters has slobbered all over her.

Wrestlelicious to Air in March

To see the worst wrestling/rap song since the WrestleRock Rumble, fast-forward to about the half-way point of their video on the website.

It looks like Lesnar is on his way to being a face. MMA people always deny the existence of faces and heels, but there’s nothing like cutting a promo about a near-death experience to turn a heel into a face.

Can’t wait for wrestlelicious to get rolling. I’m really curious what sort of product they’ll come up with and whether or not an all female fed will find its way to main stream TV….

I have never heard of Bite TV. Am sure it is not offered by my cable company and thus won’t be watching this new entity. Will I be missing anything really important? Probably not.
