Wrestling With The Law

Quite a few wrestlers have allegedly been behaving very badly lately. Roddy Piper, Brian Blair, and Grand Master Sexay have all been arrested in the past two weeks. They were lucky though because two other wrestlers were murdered this week.

Roddy Piper Arrested
Roddy Piper was arrested Thursday morning by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department on misdemeanor DUI charges. He was released on $5,000 bond and his case will be heard by a judge on July 23. To see the official rap sheet, click here and type in the name Roderick Toombs.

Brain Blair Case Resolved
Prosecutors have dropped their child abuse charges against Brian Blair. On Father's Day, Blair was arrested for hitting his children. After an investigation of the incident, prosecutors determined that his son was the aggressor in this incident. For more details about this case, check out this article from Tampa Bay Online.

Grand Master Sexay Sentenced
In a follow-up to my story about Brian Christopher's arrest last week. According to WBBJ-TV, Grand Master Sexay entered a guilty plea to a public intoxication charge. He was ordered to pay a $50 fine and attend 30 days of rehabilitation at Pathways. Luckily for his wallet, the WWE offers free rehab to former talent.

Two Luchadores Murdered
Lucha Mini stars Alexander (Espectrito II) and Alberto (La Parkita) Pérez Jiménez were both found dead in their hotel room on Monday. The 35-year old twins picked up hookers in their hotel. The hookers spiked their drinks to knock them out so they could rob them. Sadly, because of their size, the dosage used on them was too much and they died.
