Nick Hogan Released From Jail

Tuesday October 21, 2008
Florida motorists and pedestrians beware. Nick Hogan is out of jail.

Nick was picked up from jail by his sister, Brooke, shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning after serving slightly more than five months of an eight month sentence for reckless driving. Nick got approximately three months shaved off of his sentence due to good behavior. As part of his plea deal, Nick will be on probation for five years, have to serve 500 hours of community service, and had his driver's license suspended for three years.

Of course Nick's release turned into a media circus and a humorous video is now on TMZ where the paparazzi are having a hard time trying to figure out if it is Linda or Brooke that has greeted Nick. I think the paparazzi were being jerks and trying to get a reaction from one of them to get them to talk.

I just hope that Nick can stay out of trouble and do something constructive with his life. I really wish Nick takes this opportunity and uses his celebrity to teach others about his mistakes in judgment and helps them avoid acting like a moron behind the wheel of a car. While he can never repair the life of his friend, John Graziano, maybe he can help save someone else's.
