Former Tag Team Champion Suspended 30 Days for Wellness Policy Violation

Friday October 10, 2008
Nick Nemeth has been suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. Since this is his first violation of the policy, he will be suspended for 30 days. Please note that while World Wrestling Entertainment now releases the names of the violators, the violation that causes the suspension is not made available to the public.

Nick is currently performing under the name of Dolph Ziggler. That character has recently debuted on WWE television and has been seen on TV introducing himself to wrestlers in the back. Prior to portraying the character Dolph Ziggler, he used to wrestle as Spirit Squad member Nick. The Spirit Squad held the World Tag Team Championship for approximately 7 months in 2006. Even though Nick was not in the match where the team won the titles, all five members of the Spirit Squad were recognized as the champions and any two of them could defend the titles.
