No Surrender 2008 Results
This has been a huge week for TNA. On Tuesday, TNA:iMPACT!, the company's first-ever video game, hit store shelves. The next day, the company got some great news when their biggest star, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, was found not guilty in his DUI case. Tonight, the company held their first International PPV event as this event took place in Ontario, Canada and this is their final PPV event prior to their biggest event of the year, Bound for Glory.
As with seemingly every other sport this weekend, Hurricane Ike had an impact on this show. Booker T, a resident of Houston, Texas, was scheduled to be in the main event of this show but was forced to miss this event. He was taken out of the four-way match and the TNA World Championship match was changed to a three-way match instead. I want to commend TNA for notifying their fans via their website of this change to the card prior to the event. One of the criticisms I have leveled at the company was that in the past they have continued to advertise matches that they knew wouldn't happen and didn't bother to tell their fans until after the show started and the fans had spent their hard-earned money.
