The Future of ECW
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that starting in August ECW would tour with RAW but keep doing their television tapings with SmackDown. According to changes on wwe.com, that no longer appears to be the case. All August ECW events see them touring with SmackDown. However, the two house shows currently listed for the month of September have ECW and RAW touring together while ECW is still a part of the SmackDown tapings. I will continually monitor this situation on my live event calendar.

Will a New Diva Champion be Crowned at Night of Champions?
It does not appear that the title will be created at tomorrow night's PPV event. The official preview for next week's SmackDown, states the following: "Finally, what about the new Divas Championship? When will Natayla find out who she will face for the coveted new title? And when will the title finally be contested?".

Is Vince McMahon Really Injured?
Because I have gotten quite a few emails about this I thought I should mention something about this on the blog. Just like the limo explosion last year, the set collapsing on him was just a stunt. That stunt has given them the opportunity to end the million dollar weekly giveaway. In the future, if you are in doubt of whether an injury is real or fake, check out my wrestling injury report that lists the wrestlers that are on the DL, when they are scheduled to return, and describes whether the injury is real or fake.

TV Changes in the U.S. and Canada
Starting this week, AWA Classics is moving from the 1:00 - 2:00 AM time slot to the 12:00 - 1: 00 AM time slot. Fans of this show in Canada are in for a treat on July 5 as there will be a 7-hour block of the show while American fans will get a partial block of the show on Saturday. As far as the normal weekly show in Canada goes, it is now on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 ET and repeats the same two episodes three times on Thursdays at midnight, 10:00 AM, and 4:00 PM. Canadian fans should also check out the TV schedule of the Fight Network as that network shows both current wrestling (TNA, Ring of Honor, and wrestling from Japan) as well as old wrestling shows (Wrestling from the Chase & Classic Memphis Wrestling). Special thanks to Clay Marston for letting me know about the changes to the Canadian wrestling schedule. American fans that want to keep track of what wrestling-related TV shows will be on every week should check out my weekly TV schedule.
