Major Upcoming ECW Changes

Ever since the WWE announced that they were going to cancel their domestic Internet show Heat, rumors have been floating over the Internet about how that will impact ECW. As is the case with most of the rumors on the Internet that are reported as fact, the rumors were only half-true.

According to the recent changes on wwe.com, the fate of ECW has been scheduled. Starting on August 1, ECW will tour with the RAW brand for their house shows. However, when it comes to television tapings, the show will still be recorded on Tuesday nights as part of the tapings with Friday Night SmackDown. It also appears that SmackDown and ECW will remain touring together when the company runs house shows overseas. This arrangement allows the WWE to continue their storyline SmackDown/ECW talent exchange program. To see how these changes will impact the WWE calendar, check out my live event schedule.
