Owen Hart 1965 - 1999

Friday marks the 9-year anniversary of Owen Hart's fatal accident. For those too young to have heard the story, at the Over the Edge PPV event in Kansas City, MO, Owen was supposed to enter the ring from the rafters but something went tragically wrong and he fell from the rafters into the ring. In a controversial decision, the PPV went on and the following nights RAW was dedicated to Owen.

Instead of focusing on his death, I'd like to give you all the opportunity to remember the life of Owen Hart and why we still miss him. I'd also like to point out that the attached photo of Owen Hart was taken a little more than a week before his death. In this photo, he was signing autographs for the servicemen at the Andrew's Air Force Base. Even outside of the ring, Owen found the time to make others smile.
