Cyber Sunday 2007 DVD Review
WWE Home Video has recently released Cyber Sunday 2007 on DVD. This show featured matches that were decided upon by the votes of the fans. What I Said Then: The thing that kept annoying me throughout the show was that the announcers kept harping about the voting still being open on WWE.com. If I had a dollar for every time they wanted me to go to WWE.com then I wouldn’t have had to pay for this show.
Has My Opinion Changed? No. If it was annoying when the show was on, imagine being bombarded with voting requests several months after the voting has been over. While that was a minor grievance with the show, I also mentioned back in October that absolutely nothing was decided by this show and that it was obvious a Hell in a Cell rematch between Undertaker and Batista and a rematch between Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton would be taking place the next month. Both of those predictions came to pass.
Overall Recommendation: Pass on this one. Much like the way No Way Out suffers as being the PPV event that leads to WrestleMania, this event suffers from the being the show that leads to the Survivor Series. There is nothing that has to be seen on this show because the important matches were repeated and were better at the Survivor Series. However, that doesn't mean this was a bad show. It is just very forgettable. If you would like to buy this DVD, click here to find the lowest price.
