Stone Cold Press Conference
Earlier today, I took part in a teleconference with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He was speaking to reporters to promote the RAW XV Anniversary special and the 2007 Tribute to the Troops Show. Both shows will be on the USA Network. The RAW Anniversary special will be on Monday December, 10 from 8:00 - 11:00 PM. The Tribute to the Troops Special will be on Monday December 24 from 9:00 - 11:00 PM.During the press conference, Steve discussed many topics including his favorite RAW memories, who he would like to wrestle, matches he wished would have happened and more.
Favorite Stone Cold RAW Moment
It was hard for him to pick one but his favorite things included all the vehicles he got to drive, hitting Vince in the head with a bed pan, and working with Bret Hart.
His Physical Condition
He is feeling good physically and is physically up to fighting. He feels good now and he wants to stay that way.
Upcoming Stars
He feels that Mr. Kennedy has lost some of his momentum. He thinks that too many people have been giving him advice.
MVP has the mechanics down but needs to think more about the entertainment aspect.
Umaga has really impressed him and should be used more.
Randy Orton is really good in the ring but he would like to see him better on the mic and turn it up a gear in the ring.
The Match He Wished Happened
He would have loved to work with Goldberg but it was too late for it to happen once Goldberg entered the WWE. He can't blame him for not joining the WWE immediately after the sale of WCW because of the money he was guaranteed.
His Favorite Beer
His favorite beer is Miller Lite.
Working With Santino Marella
He enjoys Santino's accent and feels that he is a great talker. In the several weeks that he blasted Stone Cold's movie, Steve felt that he got a lot better on the mic and feels that he has a bright future.
On Acting
He is currently trying to find a good script. He compared wrestling to acting in that with both you get better with more repetition.
On Ric Flair
He feels that Flair is the greatest pro wrestler and champion of all time. He wishes they could have worked together more when he was younger.
On His Final Match
If he would wrestle one more match, he would like to face Bret Hart.
