Review of Bret Hart's Autobiography, Hitman
Tuesday October 30, 2007
My month of reviewing wrestling books has finally ended. Luckily for me, I saved the best for last. Whereas Chris Jericho's book was literally a one night stand, reading this book was like getting married, raising kids, and playing with your grandkids. The book clocks in at over 550 readable pages that feature the smallest type font I have ever seen excluding a F.A.S.B. rule book that I was forced to read in college. Unlike that book, this book was highly enlightening about the something I enjoy very much. I don't care what your degree of fandom is, you will walk away from this book learning many new things about the business and will be shocked by how many Internet "facts" are refuted in this book. The biggest problem with this book is that it is not available outside of Canada. However, thanks to the Internet that is no major problem. When my wife bought this for me, she just typed .ca instead of .com when she went to Amazon. As far as the conversion rates go, the U.S. Dollar and Canadian Dollar are roughly equal.
