Cyber Sunday Predictions
This Sunday night, the WWE presents Cyber Sunday. My predictions for the event are listed below. To make the predictions even more difficult for me this month, the matches that will betaking place at this show are all to be decided by a vote with results that won't be revealed until Sunday. In addition to telling you who I think will win the matches, I’m going to explain why. Feel free to let me know what you think will happen at the show by clicking on the comments link below.??? Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay - The options for this match are Stretcher Match, Shillelagh on a Pole Match, and No Disqualification. Due to the events that took place at No Mercy, I believe that fans will be voting for the Stretcher Match. For the past few months, Rey has looked like a chump due to the devious actions of Finlay. With a new DVD just released, things appear to be picking up for Rey as it is about time he returns to the main event scene after returning from his injury. A clean win in a brutal style match with Finlay will catapult Rey back to the top of the SmackDown roster, which is also set to feature Edge return at the Survivor Series next month. Predicted Winner: Rey Mysterio
??? Match: Matt Hardy vs. MVP - The options for this match are Wrestling Match, Boxing Match, and Mixed Martial Arts. I really wished one of the options for this match was U.S. Title Match. The WWE is doing a great thing by not rushing this feud and the chemistry between these men has been the highlight of SmackDown for the past few months. The one potential problem with this match is that there are reports that Matt suffered a severe facial laceration on Tuesday night and some websites have reported that Matt may not be able to compete at the show. However, those sites also incorrectly reported in the past week that ECW was about to be canceled and that Lex Luger suffered a heart attack. I refuse to believe that Matt will let a cut keep him out of a PPV match. Predicted Winner: MVP in a Mixed Martial Arts Match
??? Match: Triple H vs. Umaga - The options for this match are Steel Cage Match, First Blood Match, and Street Fight. Just as there is no doubt in my mind that Triple H will win this match, there is also no doubt in my mind that this match will be held inside the confines of a steel cage. Predicted Winner: Triple H
ECW Title Match: Champion CM Punk vs ??? (The Miz, Big Daddy V, or John Morrison) - I refuse to believe that the Miz has any shot of being in this match. That leaves Big Daddy V and John Morrison. While Morrison and Punk have fought seemingly dozens of times, their matches have always been good. The one PPV match between Punk and Big Daddy V was an abomination. I am hoping that Morrison gets the title shot. Predicted Winner: CM Punk
World Title Match: Champion Batista vs. Undertaker - The special guest referee for this match will be either Steve Austin, JBL, or Mick Foley. There is no doubt in my mind that Austin gets the gig. That means that all the Santino Marella insults might come into play during this match and cause some type of no contest. That would lead to a Steve Austin return to the ring at Survivor Series as well as the inevitable Hell in a Cell Match to conclude the Batista vs. Undertaker feud. Predicted Winner: No Contest
WWE Championship Match: Champion Randy Orton vs. ??? (Shawn Michaels, Ken Kennedy, or Jeff Hardy) - There is no way that Shawn Michaels doesn't get into this match. Since Randy won the title from Triple H last month, by keeping the belt over Shawn this month could lead to a possible D-Generation X reunion next month in a Survivor Series style match in a match also featuring Orton. To add an element of to that reunion, this time both men will be going for the prize which could lead to some major WrestleMania size tension between Shawn and Triple H. You have to remember that when they were together last year, they were just after Vince and neither man was focused on the WWE Championship. Now they both have their eyes set on the title. Predicted Winner: Randy Orton

Hi Eric! Thanks the update! I wanted one more match to happen for cyber Sunday. There should be a match between John Coachman and Vince MCManon and that match should be an I retirement match. From Bonnie Barrass
