Review of Born to Controversy, The Roddy Piper Story

Today is the release date of the 3-disc DVD set Born to Controversy, The Roddy Piper Story. Last month, the WWE released a book entitled Controversy Creates Cash. When you put those two titles together that means that Roddy Piper was Born to Create Cash and Roddy certainly did that for the WWE. Maybe the WWE could use some of that cash to buy a thesaurus.

The first disc contains a documentary of Roddy's life and some extras, the second disc is dedicated to his matches, and the third disc is comprised of two dozen episodes of Piper's Pit. The biggest problem with this DVD set is that even at a running time of 9 hours, Roddy is so entertaining that you are still left wanting to watch more.
