Poll: Who do you think will fight Batista this Sunday night?

Monday July 17, 2006
Due to the injury Mark Henry suffered on Saturday night, he will no longer be able to compete in his match against Batista. On Monday, Batista issued an open challenge to anyone brave enough to face him on Sunday night at The Great American Bash. Who will show up? I have eliminated everyone that is already in a match on Sunday and have come up with the five most likely choices.

Ken Kennedy
Kennedy is the best person on the SmackDown! roster that has not already involved in another match. After the events of last Friday, it appears that he might be facing off against Matt Hardy but as all of Matt’s fans know, the WWE has dropped several of his angles in midstream.

The Big Show
The ECW Champion is scheduled to face SmackDown! star The Undertaker on ECW’s TV show this week. He is also partly responsible for Batista’s injury as it was a double choke slam by him and Kane that originally injured the back of Batista.

Sabu
Sabu is no stranger to issuing open challenges. In recent weeks, he has been in the ring against the top RAW and SmackDown! stars.

Kane
Kane was one of the men who originally injured Batista. Since beating up the 1996 version of himself a few weeks ago, he has not been on TV.

JBL
JBL fought Batista at the last Great American Bash card. Since this is an open challenge maybe his forced retirement can be waived since the match will not be sanctioned ahead of time.
