Classic MSG Wrestling Show, RVD-Sabu Update, Diva Drops Out of Diva Search, SNME Card Announced

- "Mean" Gene Okerlund will be the host of a new show on the MSG Network called WWE Presents MSG Classics. The show is one hour long and will be on in two episode blocks starting Wednesday July 12 at 8:00. The first episode will feature the 1/23/89 MSG show which featured Hulk Hogan battle The Big Bossman. The next hour will feature the 8/30/82 card which featured Bob Backlund defend the WWE title against “Playboy” Buddy Rose. The show will be on for eight episodes this summer and will have thirty episodes shown by the end of the year.

- The Ironton Tribune is reporting that Rob Van Dam & Sabu were supposed to be in court Thursday morning but were granted continuances in their cases. New dates have not been scheduled.

- Jennifer Walcott, one of the eight finalists for the 2006 Diva Search contest has dropped out of the competition. She is being replaced by Erica Chevillar. The contest starts on Monday.

- The following matches have been announced for the 7/15 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event:
WWE Title: Champ Edge vs John Cena
Elimination Match: D-X vs The Spirit Squad
Batista, Lashley, & Rey Mysterio vs King Booker, Finlay, & Mark Henry
Bikini Bull Riding Contest: Torrie Wilson, Maria, Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Victoria, Kristal, Ashley, Jillian, Michelle McCool, & Kelly Kelly
