6/30 Friday Night SmackDown! Recap

Tonight’s main event was a steel cage match between U.S. Champion Lashley and King Booker. After several weeks of matches between these two men, the steel cage was used to possibly settle this feud once and for all. Even though the cage was designed to keep Booker’s loyal subjects out, it doesn’t mean that they still couldn’t make their presences felt in this match.

With this feud seemingly over, SmackDown! looks to the future. Next week will feature the return of “The Animal” Batista. The Great American Bash PPV will be held in several weeks and the first challenge was laid out for this event. The Great Kahli has challenged The Undertaker to a Punjabi Prison Match. As far as what this match is, no one in this part of the world has ever seen one or even knew that it really existed. Commentator JBL thought that this match was just a legend.
