Was John Cena able to hold onto the title? Who would win the money in the bank match? Would Kane be able to keep his focus tonight? Who did Trish and Mickie dress like tonight?
- Jim Ross has replaced Joey Styles at the announce table for this show. He is doing the show with Jerry Lawler tonight.
Carlito vs Chris Masters - Masters tried to apply the master lock but Carlito was able to reverse it. He rammed Master’s head into the turnbuckle and then hit the double knee backbreaker. Carlito then used the ropes for leverage to get the three count. Winner: Carlito
Ric Flair vs Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada - The fight starts outside the ring. After Umaga kicked out of a figure four leg lock attempt, he destroyed the “Nature Boy”. He tied Flair to the tree of woe and hit a diving head butt followed by a butt butt then a head butt followed by the thumb spike to get the easy win. Winner: Umaga
Women’s Title: Champ Mickie James vs Trish Stratus - Both women dressed as themselves tonight. Early in the match, Trish was thrown out of the ring and hurt her arm. When she reentered the ring, tried to pin her a few times but Trish kicked out each time. Mickie then choked Trish and the ref was forced to disqualify her. Even though she lost, she still kept her title. After the match, it was announced that Trish dislocated her right shoulder and she will have an MRI on it tomorrow. Winner: Trish Stratus by DQ
Money in the Bank & Intercontinental Championship Match: Champ Shelton Benjamin vs Rob Van Dam - After the ref bump, Shelton tried to hit Van Dam with the Money in the Bank briefcase but RVD used the briefcase to do a Van Daminator and then hit the five star splash to get the win and championship. Winner and new I-C Champ: Rob Van Dam
Kane vs The Big Show - After a few minutes of action, Kane & TBS were both outside the ring when the lights went red and Kane’s voice was saying May 19 over the P.A. system. Kane went into the ring covering his ears and TBS hit him in the head with a steel chair and walked away. Winner: No Contest
God and Shawn Michaels vs Vince & Shane McMahon - Prior to the start of the match, Vince made the match a no-DQ No Holds Barred Match. For those wondering, God was a white spotlight. Shawn was in control of the match and had both McMahon’s set up on 2 tables and ascended a ladder when The Spirit Squad came out. They gave Shawn the 5 man lift through a table and placed Vince on top of Shawn so he could get the win. Winner: Vince & Shane McMahon beat Shawn Michaels & God
- Matt Striker introduces the smartest person from Kentucky, Eugene. He asks Eugene to spell his name and he writes “likes poop” on the chalk board under Striker’s name. Eugene proceeds to pick his nose and feed the booger to Striker.
WWE Championship: Champ John Cena vs Triple H vs Edge w/Lita - Cena was able to get the STFU on both his opponents but each time the third man in the ring broke it up. After over 15 minutes of action, Triple H brought the sledge hammer into the ring but was speared by Edge before he could use it. Edge picked it up to use on Cena but Cena caught him. He was about to hit the FU on him but Triple H broke it up which caused Edge to fall out of the ring. Triple H then went for the pedigree but Cena reversed it and rolled up Triple H to get the win. After the match, Triple H hit Cena, Edge and the referee with the sledge hammer and did several D-X style crotch chops in the ring. Winner: John Cena
