- Roddy Piper’s one man show will begin starting this Friday night in Bellingham, WA. The attached photo of Roddy is from a dress rehearsal in Oak Harbor, WA on 4/19/2006. The WWE Hall of Famer has not been seen on the national stage since WrestleMania 21 when he had Steve Austin as a guest on Piper’s Pit. Make sure to check out Roddy’s blog for all the latest information about this tour.
- The Capitol Legends Fanfest has added six new wrestlers to the convention to bring the total to over two dozen wrestlers. The latest editions to the show are Nick Bockwinkle, Robert Gibson, Ernie Ladd, Ricky Morton, Angelo Mosca, and Nikolai Volkoff. The show takes place in Rockville, MD from 8/11 – 8/13.
- Almost every other wrestling website incorrectly reported that Gunner Scott won the cruiserweight title from Gregory Helms in a house show held in Germany today. Instead of posting retractions like a credible news site should, many of the web sites just erased the story and have left many wrestling fans confused.
