Two Wrestling Hazing Incidents, The Lionel Tate Saga Continues, Heat is money, and John Cena Reaches a Milestone

- Curt Anderson of the Associated Press is reporting that Lionel Tate is competent to stand trial. The Lionel Tate saga has had several ramifications for the pro wrestling industry that even involved the man that was almost Vice President of the United States.

- The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that police are investigating the injuries suffered by a 17 year old at a pro wrestling camp. The alleged victim, Versailles Smith, is claiming that he was forced to participate in an initiation ceremony where his chest was chopped. Brew City Wrestling Promoter Frank DeFalco said that the initiation was not forced.

- John Cena has just moved into the top 10 on the longest reigning champions list.

- PWInisder.com is reporting that Palmer Cannon flew back home from the European tour yesterday. They are also reporting that he left the company due to a hazing incident involving JBL. This is not the first time that JBL’s name has been mentioned in a hazing incident. In Edge’s autobiography, Edge tells a disturbing story involving JBL touching his buttocks while he was taking a shower.

- This week’s edition of HEAT is now online. Due to the supershow taping this week, Heat is a themed show this week. The theme for the show is money and features two matches involving battles for money, the WrestleMania 21 Money in the Bank match, and a match featuring I.R.S.
