Surreal Life Season 6 Episode 4 Recap

When we left the cast last week, they were seconds from telecasting their newscast live. Will Andrea be drunk on the air? Will Tawny remember whether she is reporting on a lost watervane or weathervane? After the newscast, the housemates celebrate and one of them goes on an angry rampage.
- The newscast starts off with Florenece Henderson as anchor. Tawny Kitaen’s story airs and her telecast was like a deer being caught in the headlights. Florence asked her a question about the replacement weathervane that really threw off Tawny.
- A commercial for Poison’s latest greatest hits album is shown. This is a good time to air the commercial since CC DeVille, the guitarist of the band, is on the show. Chad Bowar, the guide to heavy metal, has written a review of this album.
- Andrea’s winery report is shown. She appeared sober to the audience even though there were many drunks screaming into the camera behind her. C.C.’s sports cast is up next and he is freaking out before he goes on. His report featured him getting beaten up by a female UFC star. CC was good during his live report and did it sober (he got out of rehab the day the show started). Sherman Helmsley does the weather and has a lot of trouble with the green screen. He used his comedy skills to make it funny. The newscast ends and the housemates go out to party.
- The difficulties that Alexis Arquette goes through are on display. When the group is out for dinner, everyone in the restaurant is making their whispering comments and telling their friends while pointing at her. One customer said something that the microphones didn’t pick up that caused Alexis to get up and start yelling at the guy. Her cast members were supportive of her. The guy she got into a fight with apologized by sending a drink to the table and everyone was in a good mood again. CC & Steve Harwell left the bar because they want to remain sober.
- Maven, Andrea, & Alexis stay at the bar and things get out of hand. When Alexis kisses a guy, a bunch of people make rude comments and Maven comes to her rescue. They want to leave and try to find Andrea. Andrea is drunk at is exposing herself to some people to prove that she is natural. Alexis gets her out of this situation but when they are leaving a group makes several nasty comments towards Alexis and she picks up some giant metallic objest and starts threatening them with it. She then moons them as she leaves. When they are in the van on the way home, Maven lets Alexis know that he has her back and Alexis starts saying how her housemates are family.
- Next week the housemates will host their own talk shows. Tawny is out for revenge on Florence for asking her about the weathervane during the newscast.
