Surreal Life Season 6 Episode 3 Recap
Sunday April 2, 2006
On this episode, the housemates have to produce a live news cast. This is a two part episode. Highlights of this episode feature Tawny and Alexis bond, and Andrea drinking an extreme amount of wine even though she will have to be on the air live.
- CC DeVille wakes the cast members up by playing his guitar. The next scene has Alexis Arquette on the phone with a friend complaining that her housemates are not as open minded as they think. Steve reads the house paper and tells the housemates that they will be going to a news studio in San Luis Obispo. The cast gets on a tour bus. While on the bus, Tawny starts asking Alexis a lot of questions about her situation. Alexis is happy about this because they start to bond over this. The housemates meet Florence Henderson at the studio. The group then finds out that they will be doing a live news cast.
- Alexis is the executive producer. She is not happy about that because she feels that they don’t want her on camera. Florence is going to be the co-anchor, CC does sports, Sherman does weather and Alexis will have to decide upon the rest of the cast mates to do two stories, one on a missing weather vane and another on a winery. Alexis decides to have Steve and Andrea do the winery story and Tawny and Maven to do the weather vane story. CC has to interview UFC champion Chuck Lidell. Alexis calls up Steve and Andrea to tell them not to have any wine on air. Andrea doesn’t follow this rule. Tawny has problems and keeps calling the weathervane a watervane. CC gets in the ring with a female fighter who beats him up. Everyone comes back to the studio so they can edit their footage and write the stories. A late breaking news story broke and Andrea had to go to the local farmer’s market to do a live shoot. The show ends with everyone very nervous as they are about to go on air.
The coming attractions are shown and the newscast looks to be a total train wreck. After the newscast the group goes to a bar to party and someone insults Alexis who then gets violently mad.
